Poutine!
My coworker Jacqui got a French bulldog! She is a rescue dog from a puppy mill in the states and she is named after one of my favorite foods!! She is super sweet, but a bit of a trouble maker. She has destroyed a journal, a bag of flour and well, whatever else you leave out that has sentimental value! Lucky she's so dang cute...Welcome home poutine!

Bean!
Bean is the newest addition to the cathouse. Bean has the amazing ability to squeeze into any space without upsetting his surroundings. He is so slender and delicate and agile, that he could probably slip through the eye of a needle without even rumpling his coat. He is definately the most active and playful of all my cats. His youthful spark has put a twinkle back in Charlie's eye. Charlie likes to play but has spent the last few years living with the cat equivalent of an elephant whale. When Frank (the whale) does decide to play it's short lived and involves alot of loud nose breathing. So, Charlie is having fun with his new friend, and Bean is teaching Charlie the tricks of the squeeze trade. Since Bean moved in I have found Charlie sleeping in some strange small spaces. Bean is so agile and athletic that he can leap about 6 feet in the air to catch a feather toy. He is also quite stunning, having abyssinian roots. His slender face and big sparking eyes make him a crowd pleaser with the ladies! Beanana, welcome home!! XO
Cosmic Charlie
Charlie is my first cat and my first love. I adopted him as a kitten, and was lucky enough to be present for his birth. If I could travel with a daemon like Lyra in 'The golden compass', it would be Charlie by my side always. He is sweet and dependant, and he loves to cuddle. If Frank is my problem child, then Charlie is my prodigal son, who can do no wrong. He comes when you call him, he can sense when you are upset, he climbs under the covers and spoons you when you are cold. He is handsome, maintains a perfect weight and keeps himself meticulously groomed. When Frank does not cover his "mess" in the litterbox, Charlie will go in after him and cover it for him. Him and Frank are the best of buds and are often busted cuddling. He has earned the nicknames Squirrel pants, Talky Stevens, and Chupachup.
I love you Chuckie!

Frank the tank
Frank is one of 3 house cats that I live with. I adopted him from the SPCA a few years back with the intention of helping him shed a few of his 22 lbs. Now, 3 years later I have come to realize that my original goal would come at the cost my sanity, and the reality that I have to live with is that while I can maintain his weight, he will never shed those extra pounds. When Frank is hungry he is.... difficult. As I am typing this he is perched above me on my dresser rubbing his face against my space heater so that it tips ever so slightly, then rebalances itself. Soon he will go over near the door and repeatly "boing" the springy coil that keeps the door from hitting the wall. All the while he stares at me with those dark pools of anxiety. If he gets hungry enough he will step up his game. He knows a gentle push can tip over my shelf of maneki neko porcelain cats, or that if he stands on his hind legs on my bed he can reach and knock down a hanging picture off my wall. Don't think that I am starving him by any means. If I let him he would lay next to his bowl and shovel food into his mouth with his paw all day! (This is truly how he eats sometimes) So, Frank the strange and tenacious cat, who growls at the doorbell, menaces the vet, snuggles like a manatee and has the belly fur of a velveteen rabbit. You have quirks and moods and anxiety and a sense of humor, and I salute you. You have blundered your way into my heart, even though you act like an ork sometimes. You have earned the nicknames Frank the Tank, Frank n Furter and Land Yacht, I love you, you big lug.
